Step 2 Creative Writing 1 is a full semester (57 lessons, 19-20 weeks) worth of fun and challenging writing ideas and assignments for ages 7-8, and for students of any age who are developing literacy. (Teen-aged students have used Elementary courses with success.) 

The student learns basic elements of the English language and immediately puts them to creative use, building his own stories out of nouns and verbs, adjectives and adverbs of his own choosing.  Many key concepts in creative writing are addressed, such as action, building of characters, dialogue, and description, all presented in a manner designed for this age group or literacy skill level.
