What was life like before civilization? How do we know? 15 lessons that allow the student to discover on his own what history is, what a a human being is, how we are different from other living things, and why we are important.
The student investigates the actions of human beings...starting with the selection of advantageous areas to live in, and the building and living in homes of their own design. The student investigates the evidence of primitive cave life, and of our earliest inventions, those which helped man conquer his world.
As with all our history and science courses, all concepts are presented simply, and accompanied by hands-on and fun exercises to help the student really understand. And as is true of our Step 1 courses, this course is designed to even work with preliterate students.
