The first course in the final (fourth) semester for Step 1 History (ages 5-6, and for students just starting to develop literacy).
A big course with lots of film and hands-on learning covering England, Canada, Australia, and European countries Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria! An introduction to the history of some of the most important countries on Earth. 22 lessons that will open up the world to your young student.
But first, the student is introduced through a series of lessons to what a civilization is, and how every civilization develops its own, unique culture. The aspects of culture are investigated, including language, buildings, food, clothing and the arts. An eye-opener bound to set your young student on the road to an understanding of the world we live in.
