History is a tale that should be usually told from the beginning. And so it is with Step 1 studies, for ages 5-6, and preliterate students. Step 1 teaches history in the order that it happened, and with a global rather than a local perspective.
Through 14 fun-packed lessons, the student explores in an unbiased manner what science and religion think happened at the birth of our Universe. The student is provided the information through hands-on exercises, and is allowed to decide for himself what ideas interests him, and what to believe. This is followed by a similar look at how Earth came into existence. And then, the amazing appearance of life on our planet is investigated. But all the information is presented to the student in simple, informative essays and through active, on-your-feet exercises he will love to do. And no "opinion" is pushed. Different ideas are simply presented for the student's inspection, and in fun and creative ways.
