This is the first course in semester two, for Step 1 (ages 5-6) Study & Life Skills. Also for preliterate students, and for students who have developed very limited literacy.

This course covers what a student is, and how students can work with others and themselves to achieve good results. The course looks at the reason a person would want to be a student, at agreements made between the teacher and student, and methods of getting work done.

The second half of this course deals with ways that the student can help themselves stay healthy. Covered are diet, sleep and rest, exercise, what to do in extreme weather, and other basics which will help your student stay well and able to study.

A unique course that will help provide your student with information and ideas he or she will use for the rest of his or her life, about how to be and stay productive and well.

  • What rules are, why they exist, when they should be followed.
